McCarren Parkhouse: Your Brooklyn Destination for Outdoor Dining and Drinks

Great place to take a break from your day in the park! You have the options of getting food, coffee, ice cream, and a beer or cocktail all in one place. Wonderful place for all ages. This was a nice hidden gem to the park.

Located square in the middle of McCarren Park great location. I’ve had the burger and cauliflower sandwich so far. Burger is a solid smashed burger. I like how it’s under $10. The cauliflower sandwich is tasty. It’s on fresh French bread, the cauliflower is battered, and it has fried eggplant too. Seasoned with a chipotle sauce I don’t think my photo does it justice. I’ll probably get the burger again next time but it’s worth trying! You can also get coffee / pastries next door, or grab a beer from the bar. Plenty of seating inside/outside. 2 gender neutral bathrooms, one private and one with multiple stalls.

Part coffeeshop (Blank Street), part ice cream parlor (oddfellows), part sandwich shop (ClubClub) and part bar.. there’s someone for everyone here! Nice outdoor seating area (which does get busy on weekends / sunny days) and some indoor seating as well. I like that it is in no way fancy - just a simple spot in the park for food and drinks. The frosé was excellent.

I finally checked out this renovated space that is now McCarren Parkhouse. I only visited the bar so I can't rate the food. The bar area is very nice. The decor and ambiance transports you to another place. It's great that it is in this park setting. The Happy Hour prices are very good and the service is also good. I will be returning.

great community spot. can work on laptops, read a book, meet a group for drinks, get a blank street matcha, use the bathroom while at the park, etc etc! especially good vibes in the summer

I had a double cheeseburger here and was really impressed ! It reminded me of in-n-out. The patty was thick and juicy and flavorful. I will def be getting it again!

McCarren park in Greenpoint has small spot to hang out drink beer eat sandwiches and finish with ice cream. If you decide they also have coffee and pastries. There’s also BBQ with tables and grill
